
Raw Cacao Brownies
Being healthy doesn’t mean depriving yourself! These guilt-free brownies are super nutrient dense and won’t send your blood sugar sky-high! I recommend cutting into tiny squares as these little babes are incredibly rich and satisfying.
- 8 pitted medjool dates
- 2 chopped large bananas
- 65g raw cacao
- 1 tsp d.e.w Cacao & Beetroot blend (optional)
- 175g almond meal
- 60ml mild extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 50ml maple syrup
Preheat your oven to 180° (160° fan forced). Line a 20x20cm cake tin with baking paper. Place all ingredients into a blender & whizz until well combined. Pour into the tin & spread evenly with a spatula then bake for 20 mins or until just firm around the edges. Allow to cool for 20 mins & then pop it in the fridge until chilled. Turn out onto a chopping board & with a sharp knife cut into little squares.
