
Smoked Salmon Canapes
These are wonderful for any festive occasion as they look incredibly pretty on the plate. Full of fibre, omega-3 fatty acids, protein and antioxidants, you can feel good about serving these to family and friends alike!
Ingredients
- 2 slices of pumpernickel or gluten free bread of your choice
- 100 grams cream cheese
- 1 tsp horseradish
- 1/2 tsp matcha or my d.e.w Matcha & Mint Blend
- Smoked salmon
Method
Mix the horseradish & cream cheese & spread on one slice of the pumpernickel. Add the matcha to the remaining cream cheese & spread on the second slice. Sandwich these together with the salmon in the middle. Pop in the fridge for 30 mins to cool then ut off the edges with a sharp knife & cut into little squares. Serve with a sprinkling of dill and capers – wow!
