
Spicy Kale Chips
Clients often ask me for healthy snack ideas and you can’t go past this one! One of nature’s super-foods, kale is rich in calcium, iron and antioxidants which act like free radical scavengers, protecting your heart and cardiovascular system. Quick and easy to prepare and you can experiment with different herbs and spices for different flavour sensations..

Ingredients
- 1 bunch kale – washed and stems removed
- 2-3 tbl spoons organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3cm knob of turmeric (grated) OR 2 tsp powder turmeric OR 1 tsp of my d.e.w Turmeric & Ginger blend
- 1 tsp Himalayan rock salt
Method
Preheat the over to 125c. Put the de-stemmed kale in a baking dish and add the oil, turmeric and salt. Mix well.
Bake for 10 minutes then remove from oven to stir again. Cook for another 5-10 minutes being careful not to burn the kale.
